And Now For Something Completely Different …

I wrote this song on this guitar.

I wrote this song on this guitar.

I’m not sure how to describe this song, or how it fits in with the rest, but I wrote it and so here it is. It was written on an acoustic (of course) and I felt like it should be recorded as an acoustic song, too.

There is minimal drums on this — a few cymbal accents here and there, with some kick during the chorus. I used some hand claps throughout though to keep the beat, and I thought it added a nice touch to the feel of the song.

Music Theory

I’m feeling too lazy to analyze this song, but there’s something about it that is bittersweet.

The Demo

And with that, I’ll just let the music do that talking. Let me know what you think of this song!

I like it; however, it sounds like the backing track of song with vocals, or some kind of lead instrument. A very good backing track though, I will add.

I like the claps, they definitely add to the feel of the song in a positive way.
